Last week I averaged 1746 calories and did 225 minutes of cardio (6 days). That resulted in a weight loss of 2.8 lbs! All week the scale wasn't budging and it was driving me crazy!! Finally over the weekend it moved. Maybe because of the couple of salads I had? I don't know, but I brought a salad today! Steve forgot to weigh, so I don't know how he did. I am at 9.2 gone, 10.8 to reach my 20 lb goal!! :) :)
I need to be extra dilegint this next week. week 3 or soon there after is usually when I crash & burn. I have already put Steve on alert. Maybe if I go into this eyes wide open I can make it past this point.
The gym is going really well. It's helping tons having Steve go too. We don't really work out together and we don't even always go at the same time, but knowing the other person simply expects that you are going seems to change the mindset and makes it more enjoyable when you can go together. It has been somewhat of a shock to Jacob...on Sunday, he said "Not again!!" I told him I thought he liked the playroom at the YMCA, he said "I do, but not everyday!" Hee hee. It's a good thing that the playroom at the YMCA is awesome. It has...ping pong, air hockey, pool table, video games, TV, computers and a HUGE play area. Not to mention books, leggos and that kind of stuff. The summer will be super easy because that's where he'll go for his daycare.

Over Christmas my MIL got engaged. The wedding date has been set for Oct. 6. If I were to lose steady from now until then, I think I should be able to be in the 250 range. And that's being pretty realistic too, I honestly think I should really be able to be in the 220's. She is having a Hawiian theme in this fancy hotel. I would really love to knock everyone's socks off at this event. I even have a dress that I'd like to wear. The biggest this comes is a 2x, and I'm not so sure about the sleevless thing, but I like it.
