Much to my dismay, I will not be having surgery this year. When everything got turned into my Insurance company, they came back with I needed ANOTHER 6 months medically supervised weight loss. :( That puts me at March 2008.
Trying to be positive and make the most of the next 6 months!

Hi Sandi. I've been wondering if you were revving up for surgery or not. Did they say why you needed another 6 months? Can you appeal this decision or ask your doctor to appeal it? I can understand your frustration, it was a hard decision to come to and now it is being dragged out. Stay positive! 6 months will be over and done with before you know it!
I agree--ask your doctor to appeal the insurance's decision to make you wait.
What are you doing in the meanwhile?
