WEEK 27 RESULTS: I lost 4 lbs!

This brings me to 88.6 lbs lost total! :) :) I am thrilled with my results because it was a tough week. I had my cycle which brought with it cravings. Plus we went to the blueberry festival yesterday which was like a fat girls hell. But I did really well. I did other things while my family dined on homemade blueberry pancakes, I managed to find a plain grilled chicken sandwich for lunch and I looked the other way when it came to all the other junk. I did indulge. I had some chocolate covered strawberries (which are my favorite) and I few potato chips and some of a homemade pretzel. But we walked around for 7 hours, so I think I made up for it. I feel like I am starting to know my limits. How much I can indulge, before it makes me feel out of control.

My goal this month was to lose what I lost last month or more. I still have 1 week to go this month and I have already lost 7.8 which is more than last month! I attribute that to all the walking. I was planning on getting out there bright and early this morning, but the pitter patter of rain indicates otherwise.

This week I was going back to the YMCA to lift weights. But one of my students is a former boxer and he set up for me a 10 min am and 10-15 min pm routine, so I am going to give that a try first. I just don't feel like going to the gym, so I'd rather do what I can at home.

The BEST news is that I went o see the doctor yesterday and he was OK with me being off the cholesterol meds and he is letting me go off my blood pressure meds! I have no idea what going off my water pill will do to the scale, but it has to be done! I will monitor my blood pressure and as long as it stays in the normal range, we are good to go!

Great job--especially during that time of the month. What wonderful news about getting off your medications!

Yes, as much as I'm sure you're excited about looking smaller and fitting into smaller clothes, you must be thrilled about the great strides you've made towards a healthier you!

At this rate you'll be at 100 lb. loss before the enticing Thanksgiving/Christmas season, which will be a great motivation to get through that unscathed and emerge even more victorious for the New Year. Isn't it so exciting?!
