WEEK 46 RESULTS: 1.8 lbs lost!

The scale is a funny thing. I have been seeing better numbers than this all week. So why a higher number? Well, I weight lifted yesterday and I am supposed to start tomorrow. But to me that all sounds like excuses. I lost 1.8 and that's fine. This isn't a race and my success isn't measured in how much I lost from one Monday to the next. In fact, after I finish the 52 week commitment, I plan on just counting/posting my weight on the 1st of the month.

What I know is that I logged 310 mins in the gym this week and I am sticking to my 1800 calories. Good enough for me!

It feels really good to be back in the gym full force. I wear my heart rate monitor when I go so that I know I am working hard enough during my cardio. No slacking off and just putting in the time for me! Steve has also joined the gym and is working hard to lose a few pounds, so it's nice to have someone to talk to.

I still have 7.2 lbs to lose to get back to where I was so that's my goal for right now!

I leave with this, no matter how old you are....It's never too late to be fit!
