Yesterday was another good day...two in a row! :)

Calories: 1815 (Goal: 1800)
Fiber: 29.7 g (Goal: 25 g)
Fat: 37 % (Goal: 30 %)
Protein: 94 g (Goal: 100 g)

So I was a little over in fat and a little under in protein, I am fine with that. My goal right now is to stick with it and I am not going to sweat the small stuff. I really don't think it's about being perfect anyway. I believe it's about paying attention and applying yourself.

Take last night for instance. I wanted something sweet after dinner. My usual skinny cow is 150 calories and I only had 60 calories left for the day. So instead of going WAY over, I split the skinny cow with Jake. I had something sweet and stayed in range.

Mary asked about the bodybugg. It is so cool. The people on the biggest loser wear them, so you may have seen them if you watch that show. Basically you wear it on your arm and it calculates the amount of calories you burn throughout the day. I got it back in February and it really helped me see how many calories I was burning in a day. There are all those calculators out there that you can put in 8 hours of sleep, 8 hours of sitting, 30 min of walking an you can get an idea of what you burn, but those things are terribly inaccurate. But the bodybugg is based on your body, and it picks up every time you go up and down the stairs and when you wash the dishes and play with the dog. Then you hook it up to your computer and download the info. It made me realize that if I have a on-plan day and I have 1000 calorie deficit, that's great. But let's say I have 3 cookies @ 120 cals each. I use to think I had blown it and went down the road of "What the hell, I have already blown it" but with the bodybugg, I realized that I didn't blow it, I just had a deficit of 640, not 1000. Hey, a deficit is a deficit! It has really helped me work on my black and white thinking of being "on-Plan" and "off-plan". It's a little expensive ($200.00), but a great tool!

I didn't walk yesterday. If it doesn't rain, I plan to see if my mom will take a walk with me tonight.

Tomorrow will be my first real challenge. We are taking Jake & my niece to the fair. But these things are going to come up all the time for the rest of my life. I must learn how to do them and be healthy at the same time!
