So week 5 ended with a loss of 1 lb. While I am not thrilled with a 1 lb loss, I will take it. I know that I did was I needed to do last week and this was a scale/body thing rather than a Sandi thing. Yesterday I weighed a full pound less than today. So I will take it and smile that things are moving in the right direction and know that my efforts WILL catch up with me.
I managed some movement last week. I am ready to add strength training. I pulled out my old routine that I had from my previous attempt at this. It's been a while and even though I have it written down, I'd like to have my trainer run through the program with me once or twice. So I have a call into her and I will set up an appointment with her. My thought is that I could weight lift on Mon & Wed before water aerobics. It would work out perfectly and then I could lift again on Fri or Sat. On the other days I will do typical cardio (treadmill/elliptical/bike).
I had a NSV this morning on the way into work. I looked down to find a 1 inch gap between myself and the steering wheel! Woooo Hoooo! I had been touching it before. This just made my day!!!
This weeks calories looked like this:
3/28: 1,617 - 45 mins water aerobics
3/29: 1,553
3/30: 1,689
3/31: 1,492 - 2 miles on the treadmill
4/1: 1,613 - 1.3 miles on the treadmill
4/2: 1,556 - several hours of meandering around a park & Museum
4/3: 1,633

Congratulations! Sounds like you are in control! I just hit my first 10% loss at WI yesterday.
Yay Sandi! That's great that you have a gap between your tummy and the steering wheel! I want one too!!!
