WEEK 37 Results: -8.4 lbs!! I have lost 99.6 lbs! so close!

I guess it will just have to be week 38 that I reach 100 lbs lost. I worked very hard this week at the gym, quit eating wheat on Wednesday and ended up with a great week. 8.4 is pretty high. But I came off a pretty significant gain and I worked out hard last week with no results, so I am sure all that came together. It will be interesting to see what this week produces. I plan to stay wheat free this week as well. I am not completely sure where I stand on all this yet. How is my body benefiting from no wheat? No sure. I know I feel like some inflamation has gone down. I have made enough substitutions that I am not missing it that much.

The plan for this week is pretty much more of the same. 1800 calories - no wheat - gym - 5 times w/ 3 weight lifting sessions!

Awesome job! And so close--did you take your watch off when you weighted? :-) I can't wait to celebrate your 100 lbs. lost.

My acid reflux disappeared when I quit eating gluten. It was the one thing that didn't go away when I lost 100 lbs., which it does in most people.

I have heard of so many people who have given up wheat and have benefited so much, I think there is really something to it and what I am doing as well since surgery. Be careful though, I don't know how vigilant you want to be with this but you'd be shocked at the number of products that have wheat in them. I did a project on celiac disease back in college so it can be tricky. Here's a good website: http://www.lpch.org/DiseaseHealthInfo/HealthLibrary/allergy/wheat.html

Great job with the weight loss this past week!!
