I want to be a doer. Most of you know I am a talker...a planner...and then sometimes I get it done. but EVERYTHING takes tons of planning on my part. This weekend I was a doer. I decided what needed to get done and I did it. No real planing, just doing. We stepped outside out usual boundaries and timeframes and just got shit done!! I got all my christmas lights up outside, I cleaned my carpets, put a bunch of stuff up on e-bay. Tons of stuff. I am exhausted this morning, but it feels good. I think maybe I need to approach life more like this and I would get a whole lot more done.
On Thursday I hit an all-time low...then I ate thanksgiving dinner...and haven't seen that number since. :( 228.4 this morning. I think that even puts me higher than I was last week. I didn't do too bad over the weekend, I even worked out on Friday & Saturday as planned.
This week presents 2 challenging days. Bunko Christmas at a Mexican restaurant on Friday & a craft fair on Sunday. Yikes!!!

Oooooh, I'm with you Sandi, I need to be a doer too! Congrats on gettin' shit done. Wanna come to my house, I've certainly got a few chores that need tackling!
Yikes, Bunko! Well hon, you've managed it successfully before, I know you can do it again. I'm thinking the craft fair shouldn't be too bad, what're you gonna do, eat hot glue covered sequins and yarn hair? JK! Just be a doer hon, you've got a mission (to stay OP) so gitter done.
Bev
Thanks for reminding me how far behind I am in getting things done! I haven't started anything whatsoever to do with Christmas!
I see some real positive things in this post ~ such as all the "stuff" you got done, hitting an all-time low (okay, you ate Thanksgiving dinner and changed your numbers a bit, but they would have been that much higher had you not been at the all-time low, right??), not doing too bad over the weekend and working out! Yes, LOTS of positive things there!
I think we're all going to have very challenging times in the coming month what with tis the season and all. We're going to need a lot of collective willpower. Lets all work together!
