I just realized that I never posted on Monday. Ooops!!

So I weighed in at 355, which gave me a loss of 5.2 lbs for the week!! My calories averaged 2,311. I still have a hard time accepting that my calories don't have to be super low to have success. But 2000ish calories seems to be enough to give me losses each week. Go figure. Sometimes I still get irrational thoughts about baking my calories off to 1600, exercising like crazy and getting this weight of as fast as possible. Yeah, because every time I tried that in the past, it worked NEVER. (The definition of Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results) So I am just going to take this at a nice relaxing pace and get it done! The weather here is getting really nice and I need to start walking the dog. I know that would help my overall fitness, and I really need that.

Things are going pretty well. Weighing, measuring and counting every day. Trying to keep my calories around 2000, but just moving on if they end up somewhat higher. I can't believe this is Week 4. When I changed my mindset 4 weeks ago, there was 40 weeks until the new year. 10 months exactly. So my goal is to lose 10 lbs a month and have 100 lbs off by New Years day. I can't even imagine! And although I weigh each week, I am really focusing on my monthly loss. Weekly weigh-ins often don't reflect your effort and it can mess with your head. Like this week, I have done nothing different, yet it's Thursday and the scale has bounced around 355.2...355.6...355.2. I think it might be my period that is due in about 5 days, but whatever. I am just going to keep to it and I know the monthly numbers will be good!
