Week 2 results: 3.8 lb loss!! :) :) It was really tough at the start of the week because the scale just kept going up for no apparent reason. Then it settled down and started going back in the right direction. I have lost a total of 12.4 lbs since I started my commitment and 29.4 from my highest weight.
Last year I did pretty good in the fall and lost 27 lbs. So now I have beaten that. PLUS, in 2009, I lost a bunch using my bodybugg and my lowest then was the same as my weight today. So I am the lowest I have been in 2 years. But those weights were on the way down, my lowest for those years. I got curious, what did I weigh in 2006 when I started this blog...339.2, August 2006. At that time, it was my highest weight ever. So I am even lower than that!
Overall, I am feeling pretty pumped. Over the weekend I went to a jewelry party and passed on numerous snacks, desserts and drinks. This weekend I have another party to go to and a dinner with friends. But I am not concerned, every situation can be handled and you can stay on plan if you plan and stick to it!
Last week my calories looked like this:
3/7: 1,416
3/8: 1,467
3/9: 1,512
3/10: 1,481
3/11: 1,495
3/12: 1,552
3/13: 1,546
I seem to be most comfortable keeping my calories around 1500. My personal limit allows up to 1800, but I am reserving that for the "occasion" type of days. Plus this way, no matter what happens, I always have some wiggle room!

Sandi - those are awesome calorie #s!!!
I do the same.. I aim 1300-1500 and normally I will have 1-2 days that are 1800-2000. The key for me is to accept those larger days and still key in my calories or else they go higher and higher! Way to go!!
Awesome!!! Proud of you!!!
Sandi, are you still using your bodybugg? I just bought a body media monitor which is similar to a bodybugg, they are made by the same company I think but the software is a little different. Anyway it is amazing! I love that I can log in my food, their site is so much easier to use than fitday which I found so unuser friendly. If you aren't using it I hope that you will try it again, I think it is really going to help me in my weight loss efforts. I am still on schedule for surgery though, will probably be in the late summer or early fall. I went for a body composition test and was horrified that 60% of my body is fat. I don't know why I was horrified, really at the weight I am at and my height really what else should I have expected?? Anyway I can't sit on the sidelines and do nothing anymore. I have an addiction and I feel like I've got to do something really radical to change these bad behaviours. If I can make it work without surgery I will but it is still there if I feel like I can't do it any other way. Take care Sandi, I love to see the progress you are making!
