WEEK 25 RESULTS: lost 3.4 lbs!

Now that's what I am talking about!!! Honestly, anything over 2.5 lbs lost makes me happy! I continued with my exercise and walked 2 miles 6 out of 7 days. At first the scale wasn't budging, but then I had a whoosh...gotta love whooshes! I really need to work on my patience!

My goal this week is to pretty much repeat last week! I think the exercise is the key. I kinda like it, grab the dog, put my headphones on and just be for 45 mins. I do have a 2 1/2 mile route all worked out...but the 2 miles is pretty much wiping me out still, so I will stick to the 2 miles fore now. It's going to bum me out when the weather changes, but that's why I have a YMCA membership. I plan to start weightlifting on 9/7...can't wait! :)

Friday Steve & I were actually able to have a date night. I LOVE burgers, so we went to Red Robin and I got the naked burger with Avocado. NO fries (did steal one of Steve's) had apple slices. And it was great! I was able to control my calories although my fat % was way up. But this is why my plan works for me because on occasion I have a burger!

15.8 more pounds until 100 gone.

Wonderful, Sandi! You're so close to that 100 lb. mark. And, yes, patience definitely is a virtue with weight loss--too many people give up because they don't' have it. Re: weight lifting. Don't ever weight lift the day before you weigh in. After weight lifting, your muscles retain water, and you could see a gain the next day. The benefits of weight lifting are just so good. I love being able to see the muscles in my 58 year old body. :-)

I've been away on vacation, too (and was inspired by you to watch my food and exercise - I must have walked my grandson 100 miles in his stroller ;)

You're so close to that 100 lb. milestone and I couldn't be more pleased for you (or more proud).
