Yesterday was another success. 2095 calories and 20 minutes of exercise! :)
I didn't have to get up so early today because I have water aerobics tonight. I feel better - more rested. My mental state is pretty good. I am not craving or feeling tempted by anything. As a matter of fact, I have passed on cookies twice already today!
I have been thinking about the fact that I also need to focus on the content of my diet, but I know me and if I take on too much, I won't do it. So for right now the goal is consistency and control. I need to control my food intake for 30-60 days before I start worrying about the quality of the intake. It has been YEARS since I have stayed on plan for even 30 days, much less 60. So this is a huge goal all by itself. Baby steps.
Last night I was getting my nails done (gotta LOVE Torie) and we started talking about stuff like acupuncture and EFT , just general stuff about healing. She mentioned that there is this local doctor that does these sessions ($300.00 - 8 sessions) and that he uses a laser beam on the points in your feet and then you soak in a water bath and it drains the toxins out of your system. They are saying that when you are done with a session, the water is almost muddy from the toxins that have been released from your system. I think stuff like that is so cool. She gave me his name & number, but I think I will wait until after she has her appt.
