Last Time

This is the very last time I will start again. I am done screwing around with this.

Today is Day 1. My weight this morning was 339.4. Last time I will see that number as well. I am going back to counting calories, I need to know for certain that I am meeting my daily goals, which are 1600 calories a day and DAILY exercise. Enough messing around and giving myself so many privileges. I have a job to do, let's get it done already!!!

What is motivating me? A lot of things really. The 2k walk on Sunday really put things into perspective for me. I am not living the life I want. Plus, I saw a show about a girl who lost 120 lbs and she said the key was that you really needed to want it (I DO WANT IT!) and you have to decide to do it NO MATTER WHAT. That's the part that gets me, the no matter what. I get a good start and then something gets me off track. Well, my rules are pretty simple. 1600 hundred calories and daily exercise, NO MATTER WHAT. I am not going to allow myself any exceptions this time, not now, not yet. A friend from 3FC and I were chatting and she suggested focusing on just getting 100 lbs off, so that's what I am going to do. 100 lbs will be shed. I'd like to have it off by the end of the year, but I am not totally sure where my metabolism is at, so we'll see. But when I follow my rules daily, the weight will come off, sooner or later.

I am also going to see about hiring a personal trainer. My schedule is pretty tight, and I hope we can find a mutual time to meet once a week. I figure if I weight train with her once a week and then again once on my own, that should do it. Plus cardio 6 or 7 days a week. I already do water aerobics twice a week and I plan on adding walking at night or step-aerobics in the am to meet my cardio requirements on the other days.

I refuse to live like this any longer. Life starts NOW!!!
