So it's Monday!! Weigh-in day for week 6!! And I....gained!! 1.2 Really, that's my reward for being on plan all week. I wasn't at all happy with this number. So, I changed the batteries in my scale. And the result??? another lb. Now I officially have a gain of 2.2 for the week. I cannot explain this. And it is driving me crazy. I am so unhappy about this. Don't give me a big loss, I can live with that, but a gain. For a whole week? If I look closely between this week and the week before...

My cals were up an average of 1894 to 1969
My carbs were up from an average of 170 to 221
My fat % was down from 41% to 35%.
My exercise was up from 0 mins to 90 mins

But even that shouldn't have resulted in a 1.2 (or 2.2 - new batteries) So this week, I will keep everything lower and see what happens. I can't have another bad week. It is wrecking my mental state.

There is absolutely no way you should have gained weight with those calorie counts. It has to be fluid fluxuation. You should have lost at least something. It'll come around. Remember the math! It takes 3500 EXTRA calories to gain a pound. You couldn't have really gained. But I understand your frustration, of course. Keep the faith. You have a good week coming to you!!

EVERY SINGLE time I start exercising I have a gain. I have no explaination except a bad attitude about it and the irrational justification that exercising is bad for me, ie the gain. I agree with Teresa, verified by my WW leader....it is fluid in the muscles. I know it doesn't make you feel any better, but it is not a TRUE gain. Don't throw in the towel. I'd say keep exercising but I have a bad taste in my mouth about my experiences (even I know rationally it is better for me to exercise). You are doing awesome! Keep it up!
