Yesterday was another successful day. Yahhh!!
Today I had to go by Dunkin Donuts and get a dozen for work. Normally we have muffins on hand, but we are out. I order a mixed dozen and don't even open the box. (Can you imagine the bagel temptation here...this crossed my mind a million times!) Then when I get to my desk, I realize that although I have brought my lunch, I have forgotten my breakfast. Hmmmm. What to do? Oddly enough I hardly even consider having a donut and find a pack of protein powder stashed in my desk. Ahhhh...perfect! So why aren't the donuts tempting me? Because I am super woman with a will of steel. No, sorry. It's simply because I haven't been eating alot of sugar and carbs therefore I am not craving alot of sugar and carbs. It's that simple. That simple notion is enough to keep me making good choices. I like the lack of cravings.
This morning I had to throw out the whipped cream. There is no junk in the house and I have found myself eating graham crackers with whipped cream. WTH?? So this morning, I threw it out. What a complete waste of calories. I will get this right...sooner or later.
I think my "bagel" craving has something to do with PMS. I have lost my temper yesterday & today. I'm thinking...what is going on?? Then I realize - PMS!! So hopefully I will quit being such a bitch very soon!!!!

Way to go Sandi, great job resisting those donuts and getting yourself a bagel and for tossing the whippped cream! You rock!!!
WTH though about even buying donuts for the office. Weren't a bunch of you on a thing last month for losing weight and so now you are buying donuts for the office. You don't need them, they don't need them, frankly the world don't need donuts seeing as they are usually 300-400 cals and you can never eat just one. And even if your office really needs donuts do you really have to be the one to go out and buy them? Sorry Sandi, you did a great job in not having one but why set your self up for temptation?
Did you go to water aerobics last night? Any news on the WLS quest? Keep up the fight Sandi, you are proving every day that you can do it!

Oh Sandi, I can soo relate on the DD/Bagel problem! And I have a DD I have to pass no matter where I go! I do pretty good getting coffee and nothing else though...thank God for drive-thru!
And the PMS, I'm a total bitch when I'm PMS'ing, to the point that my family KNOWS to tread carefully! LOL!
Yay, Sandi! If you can withstand THAT temptation, you can withstand anything! And yeah, keep reminding yourself that it gets easier and easier the longer you're away from the bad stuff.
