More good days!

It's been a good week so far...1746 calories and 25 min step aerobics on Tuesday and 1909 calories and 45 min water aerobics yesterday.

Today is Day 18 ON PLAN. That is significant because in 2007, the most days I stayed on plan consecutively was 17. Today becomes the best I've done all year. Prior to this attempt, I had only been on plan 41 days all together for 2007 - so that's my next goal. 42 days on plan.

Things have been chugging along quite nicely. I really had to make myself get up and workout this morning. I need to be careful, this is about where I usually drop off. I am trying to stay focused. I know I can do this, it's really not hard, it just takes some planning and some effort.

Consistency is the key for me. I keep being tempted to change up my plan, I need to stop it. The plan at this point is fine, it's the consistency that matters. I want the weight gone now, but I need to realize that a quick fix is not for me, slow and steady. Stay under 2000 calories, exercise, repeat.

Other than that, life is pretty good right now. I am very happy. My marriage is better than ever. I don't think it is hurting that my sex drive has gone through the roof since I went off the pill a few months ago. Don't think that is hurting one bit! Jacob is doing well, he likes school and is generally a pretty happy kid. So all around things are going well.

I am thrilled because my very good friend Amanda just adopted a little boy, Adam Joseph. She has been waiting a very long time for him. And my SIL should be having twins sometime this month, so it's pretty much baby city around here!

Gretchen, Bev, Dana, Jen415, Sheila, Midwife...Thank you so much for your support, you can't know how much I appreciate it!!!

Gotta Run! :)

It is so awesome to see you doing so well! You are a good example for me. I have always been inconsistent in any endeavor I do, and I want to change that.

Congrats to you! Here's to seeing your on-plan streak continue!

Awesome Job! I get so excited when I see the good news on your blog! You are going to break all records this time... I just know it! I totally hear ya when you say you want this weight gone now! The reality is that there just isn't a quick fix. I'm going as slow as a snails pace it seems! But I know in the end, I'll get there and just having a vision of what it will be like once I get there is totally enough motivation for me. I am so proud of you! I just think you are doing such a great job!

Yea Sandi!! Way to stay consistent. I agree with you that it's the day to day choices, getting it mostly right, that counts. I am so proud of you!

My sincere congrats on your new record for 2007!!!
