Last week I averaged 1817 calories and exercised 135 mins and I LOST 5.8 lbs! :) Yahhh!!! Very good news! That's a total of 15.8 lbs gone so far.

Today is the start of week 5. WEEK 5, really, me...wow. That pretty good for me, I haven't made it this long in forever. And the cool thing is that I feel fine being on plan, doing it and not thinking about it - pretty cool.

A pretty amazing thing happened over the weekend. We were having pizza (I know better, don't I?) it was all planned out, huge salad, 2 slices of pizza, on plan, no sweat. Until I had a 3rd piece. Still not over in calories, but no calories left for dessert. I made a decision to go over my calorie limit and have my 140 calorie ice cream bar. Then, my black & white brain knew I was already over in my calories, so what the heck. After my ice cream bar I had a Yohoo (260 cals) and 2 snack size candy bars (145 cals). Fortunately one has to sleep, so that stopped me. I ended up at 2530 for the day. Which means that I wrote it all down, which is a good. But the best news is, that I woke up on Sunday and got right back on plan. Me, the black and white brain, the gal who is either on or off, got right back on plan. I realized that 530 calories will not wreck everything and as you can see, it didn't even cause a speed bump. This is a pretty big lesson for me and gives me hope for the holidays. I can do this and I don't have to be perfect!!

Yay Sandi! 5 weeks is fantastic :) You don't have to be perfect- you're absolutely right. No one is, and I've been at this long enough to assure that's true.

Whew! Sandi that'a a big thing. The point where I got off track and was able to get back on was an important moment for me. In the past it had always been when I blew the diet and said forget it. Yeah the gray area is much easier.

Wonderful results! I always told you that once you strung a few good weeks together you'd be on your way! Now you really ARE doing more than just talking about it!

That kid is adorable.
