I know that I am a HUGE procrastinator. I always have been. I was the one in school who was up until 2:00 am finishing my report that was due the next day. (Much unlike my best friend Laurie who had it done a week ahead of time!). When I finally do get around to doing things, I do them very well. So for years I have talked about losing weight, but have only had small success followed by a larger gain (I gain very well!). But I am tired of having a whole list of things I mean to do and never getting to any of them. Well this year I WILL lose 100 lbs. January 1st, 2009 I will weigh 241 or less. No doubts about it!! I won't be perfect, but I will be consistent. I may have to get a little bit obsessed, but 2008 is my year! I can't hold off any longer.
My weight today is 341. Yep, I did the very thing I said I didn't want to do. I gained over the holidays. The last 4 weeks have been an absolute eat-fest. I am actually happy to be back on plan. I hate the low energy feeling when I am jam-crammed full of garbage!
I always log my calories in my date-book, but since I am trying to keep my carbs under 125 and my fiber over 30, I need fitday to help me keep track of it all. I'd much rather use my date book, but I think I need to monitor other things than just calories.
Tonight water-aerobics starts back up!! Yahh!! Daily exercise and strength training 3x a week will be my goal.
Anyone see NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN? I saw it with my mom last night, wow, was it good!! I highly recommend it!!!
