On my feet!

This is day 2 of teaching. Today doesn't seem nearly as bad as yesterday. I realized that this is the really the 1st time I have taught a lot since December 20th. That's almost a month. No wonder I feel so worn out!! But I made sure that I got some sleep last night, and I think that helped. I like the feeling of being so active and I am excited that I am scheduled to teach so much in the next few weeks. I think the activity will help with the weight loss and with the mental part of realizing what it feels like (how good it feels) to be so active.

I have been trying to have a "dummy proof" breakfast every morning. I am thinking that if I just have the same thing every day that will leave little room for donuts and fast food and it'll get me off to a good start every day. I had tried protein shakes, but they seem to mess with my digestive system too much, so I am having 1 slice of bread with 1 tablespoon of peanut butter and 3 slices of banana. I have this with 1 cup of skim milk. This has been holding me over to lunch pretty well and I like it because it is portable so I can take it to work and if I happen to be starving, I could eat it in the car on the way. It's around 270-290 calories, so it's perfect.

The scale seems to be cooperating, so that's good.

MMM. That breakfast sounds good. Realistically I try to only have about 3 different brekky's to choose from and I'm okay with that.
I'll go through and egg white omelet phase with a glass of milk and toast if I'm really hungry, a bowl of oatmeal and a tbs of PB put in, I've mastered the "frying" eggs in the microwave and will have two of them, a slice of toast and glass of milk or OJ. During the summer I like to freeze the ready mixed slimfast shakes and eat them. It's probably the only meal that I could get by with eating the same thing over and over and over and not get bored with it.

Hey Sandi! I'm a computer trainer too, teaching is sooo exhausting, it's very draining :)

I love your breakfast - for extreme portability, wrap those bananas and peanut butter in a whole wheat tortilla!!

I've eaten the same thing for breakfast for nearly 2 years, I just love it (2 kashi waffles, one with peanut buter, one with jam).
