Crazy Busy

OMG!! Somehow life just went into major overdrive! From now until Jacob's Party next Saturday every day is scheduled to the MAX. I do not like my life to be this way. I really like my time to just relax. None of that going on here!! I am even considering taking a 1/2 sick day today so that maybe I can get ahead and at least operate at a normal pace. I can feel the stress bubbling up from my toes all the way to my head. I guess the good news is that part of that crazy schedule is my exercise. And the stress isn't making me want to eat. Having no food in the house isn't making it all that easy to stay on plan - but I am finding a way. Definitely need to grocery shop this weekend!!

This weekend I have 2 parties. Saturday night is an adult birthday party. I'm not sure if I will eat ahead of time or try and trust myself to make good choices. The hard thing is that at a party, you pick it up and put it on your plate. No measuring or looking it up. I have no idea what they are serving. I plan on not drinking and maybe even skipping the sweets altogether. That will leave me more calories for the food. Sunday is a baby shower. *sigh* Two of these kinds of events in one weekend. YIKES!!!

The good news is that I should be able to work out Friday and Saturday. Sunday I will have to work out @ home in the morning. The gym will be closed before I can get there, plus Steve needs me home so he can play softball. That won't help my "3 times" I need to make it to the YMCA, but I'll just have to manage.

Everyone have a superb weekend!! :)

Yuck, I hate that crazy busy stressed out feeling, but you certainly sound like you have it under control. And I think it's fantabulous that you're making the exercise mandatory rather than a "we'll see" type of thing. You can make this all work Sandi, and by golly, you're doing it!!

I hope you have a superb weekend as well, and just remember to stay conscious of your choices and you'll be fine.

Here's to another awesome loss come Monday!

Okay, well at least you know what's ahead of you and have a plan! Two parties will be tough, that's for sure, but focus, baby, focus!! :)

I love how you're figuring in two days of exercise even though you're pressed for time (I'm terrible for putting off exercise rather than something else when I'm rushed). Make me proud!!

Good luck and thanks for giving me the incentive to behave this weekend, too. Go us!!
