TGIF!!!!

It's Friday!! Yahhhh!!!! I am sleepy today. Didn't get much sleep last night. Hubby was tossing and turning and I was having more legs cramps. I hate this. This weight can't come off quick enough for me. I refuse to be drastic, but I insist on being consistent. I just want to wake up (or even go to bed) and feel decent. It's not like I have some sickness that I can't control. I believe all my aches & pains are within my control. I never thought I'd see the day when walking was a challenge.

I bought these very expensive New Balance 1122 gym shoes. The lady said they were what all the foot doctors buy and they have all this fancy technology. "It has ABZORB SBS® cushioning, ROLLBAR® technology and the ENCAP® midsole for ultimate support and compression resistance, it is perfect for the larger or heavy heel-striking athlete." Ok, so I wouldn't quite call me an athelete. I wore them on my walk last night and got a calf cramp!! Can't blame the shoe, I don't think. I'm hoping they can give me some of the support I need.

Good eats yesterday (1785), maybe a few too many carbs, but still good. And I took Bailey for a walk. I didn't want to and I was even thinking aboout how I'd write my excuse, but then I did it anyway.

Today should be another good day. Over the weekend I will just have to make myself be good. That's when most of the "speedbump" oppotunities present themselves for me. Breakfast out with my mom, dinner at the pizza place with Hubby's family. I seem to be able to control the week much more than the weekend. It should be great weather and I plan to take waterboy (this is what I will refer to my son as) to the pool once, if not twice.

How funny Sandi - I have that exact pair of shoes. I got an actual perscription for them from my doctor. They have really helped with my arthritis issues. My doc said that you need a new pair every 6 months. I've worn them almost every day since January, so I am due for a new pair. But, who can afford it?

Oh yeah, I remember being sooooo impatient about how long it was taking to shed the pounds! Its like, okay, I'm doing this thing now, let's get on with it already, right? Ug, so frustrating! But I promise, its worth the wait... you'll see! ;D

Yikes, hope the new shoes don't end up doing more harm than good! I'm sure the calf cramp last night was just due to your muscles already being fatigued from having so darn many of them lately.

Good for you for taking Bailey for a walk when you didn't really want to! I knew the little guy had to be good for something other than sweet puppy lovins!

Good luck this weekend, I'll be thinking of you.
