Happy Friday!!

9/28
Calories: 1647
Exercise: none

Yesterday was another good day. I didn't exercise, but I really didn't have time. I took Bailey to the vet, which made me late for work. Because of this I had to work late and then I went over my mom's for "Must See TV". The Survivor/Gray's/ER lineup sure makes for a great night of TV. You hardly have time to pee - but great TV. It's really nice because it gives my mom and I a chance to catch up and it gives me some time away. We have been getting together on Thursday nights for TV since I was in College. Back then Thursday nights was Knots Landing. I would even schedule my college classes around it. Then when I got married, I just always came to watch TV on Thursdays. Because I have an amazing husband, he has let me continue our tradition after we had Jacob (even when he was a baby!!). So Thursday nights for me are booked! I hope someday when Jacob is a grown man, he will find time for his Mommy. (oh, and Daddy!)

Day 5 talks about a magic notebook. Somewhere where you can journal your thoughts and work things out. This Blog is my magic notebook. I have never been one to journal, but I really enjoy this blog. It helps me make sense out of things. Day 5 also talks about eating it another time. Basically is you are craving a food that doesn't really fit in your plan, acknowledge it and tell yourself, yep, that would be good. I'll have that another time and then move past it. If you tell yourself NO, you will dwell on it and maybe even revolt against yourself. This way you are acknowledging the craving and just putting it away for later.

My foot/leg feels better, so I plan to hit the gym tonight after work. I hope to work out 2 or 3 times this weekend. Saturday we are going to dinner and a mive for our anniversary. I posted earlier that I had a plan. It's all worked out. Following it will be the hard part!!

Hmmmm, saving your crave food for another time... It's certainly a nice idea, but if it were that easy then perhaps we wouldn't be in this predicament in the first place, don'tcha think? Oh well, I guess all of the 100 didn't have to be winners, huh? But that's just me, hopefully you got more out of that one than I did.

Thursdays are fantabulous aren't they?! I taped Grey's and watched it after Em went to bed, and the damn thing cut off right as mystery man can sauntering out of the bathroom, before I could see who it was! All I could do was yell NOOOOOOOO! Luckily I was able to find out who it was by doing an internet search. Man, am I pathetic or what? ;D

Anyway, I'm so glad you've been able to continue this tradition with your mom, I'm sure she looks forward to it just as much (if not more) than you. Yeah, that hubby of yours, he's a keeper!

Hope you have a wonderful anniversary celebration this weekend, made even better when armed with a plan! You can do it girl, I know you can!!
