The ladies I work with are always talking about losing weight. They are like your avaerge person who needs to lose 30-50 lbs. I agree that the struggle of losing weight is the same if you have 50 to lose or 200. But if they died tomorrow, no one would think that it was weight related. BIG DIFFERENCE. Anyway, here at work, one gal has always done the low carb thing and now switched over to counting calories. Which is my area of speciality!! :) I have already told her about fitday and that most sites you can get calories info for restaurants. Today there is lots of chatter about weight loss and such. I am thinking that maybe I can get on the bandwagon with them and maybe get some RL motivation. I have never been one to want a "food cop" around, but if she counting calories too - maybe it's a level playing field.
I have to laugh because some of you who are taking off the weight in a very healthy manner would die at the talk of 100 calories packs and low cal ice cream!! I take the 5th on that!! :)
I never heard from the nurse yesterday. I will give her until this afternoon and then I will call her again.
I am getting a cold :( I am taking my airborne to try and fight it!! When I get a cold it tends to last forever. Since I watch TV with my mom on Thursday's she will be thrilled to read this!!!

Well, it looks like we did end up starting a little challenge between the 3 of us at work. We are logging our food w/ calories and our exercise and whoever has the best week - wins!! The winner gets $5.00 from each of the non-winners! This should really help keep me accountable at work!

Does airborne really help? I've seen it but never bought it. Sorry about the sucky cold, I'll keep my fingers crossed that it's short and sweet.
